As a cartoonist, I got my first hit, a sale to Home Life magazine, while serving as an Air Force personnel clerk. After my discharge, I studied commercial art, then worked as an advertising artist for three newspapers. I have been a freelance cartoonist for 20 years now. My work has appeared frequently in Woman's World, Sun, First For Women, Saturday Evening Post, Score and many other magazines.
